Lifeline works on creating a maternity care system where pregnant women with high blood and diabetes will receive adequate health care resulting in a safe delivery for both mother and child.

Our mission is to generate an equitable heathcare plan for every pregnant woman and child by providing legitimate information regarding risks factors, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes testing and thorough nutrition.

Our WorkTarget Issues
Every year, an appalling number of women die during or after childbirth due to complications associated with pregnancies
which range from high blood pressure, infections, severe blood loss, unhealthy abortions, to risks of existing diseases
causing obstacles during a safe delivery.
Despite technological advancements and systematic progress, it is hard to believe that childbirth, which is often considered as a joy,
does not bring the same fate to many as we still have a vast population paying the price of poverty with their lives.

Our Birth Story
Meime Nabay
Founder, Lifeline W.A.C
Meime is an advocate for all women and children, but her primary focus is on pregnant women with high blood pressure and diabetes, deliveries resulting in extreme premature births, and malnourishment.
LifeLine Women and Children was founded by Meime Nabay in 2017, after she experienced pre-eclampsia twice resulting in her delivering two premature babies. Meime decided it was time to help other women going through similar situations starting in her birth country, Sierra Leone.
